The Federal Government and the L\u00e4nder are providing a total of more than four billion euros for a digital update to enable investment in modern emergency capacities, digitisation and IT security.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #1d1d1b;\">Provisions of the KHZG<\/span><\/h2><p>The promotion of digital technologies in health care is of great importance. Especially in times of a pandemic, the importance of a functioning health care system with well-equipped hospitals becomes clear. The safe care of patients has the highest priority, which is why promotion is a major necessity. The total volume of funding is up to \u20ac4.3 billion, of which \u20ac3 billion comes from the hospital future fund. This is an extension of the already existing hospital structure fund and allocates funds for more modern and better equipment of hospitals.
