The interactice price tag

Manufacturing, vehicle management, even price tags in car dealerships are part of the digital change. An article by Invidis focused on the latter. The trend is moving towards digital displays, which have already been used at car shows to present consumption data, price and features of the car. Now digital signage is also to be rolled out in series to inform interested parties and customers in car dealerships about the vehicles in an interactive way. At the IAA 2019 digital displays were used on a large scale for the first time. Two-part models were used explicitly for Volkswagen: EU mandatory fuel consumption data and other legally required information are displayed statically on the lower screen. The upper touch screen was responsible for the interactive display of vehicle functions and financing offers. Hardware is not the challenge here, but the intelligent synthesis with the backend systems.
