The nationwide ban on contact in the wake of the Corona crisis has paralysed public life to a large extent. Shopping, going to the pharmacy or to the doctor was still possible. With the new official decrees, the restrictions have been partially eased again. Shops up to 800m² are allowed to open again and everyday life can slowly start up again – but still under strict conditions. There must be ~20m² of space per customer in a shop to keep the risk of infection as low as possible. Long queues in front of shops are therefore pre-programmed. The eKiosk entry traffic lights offer a first-class solution here.

Which devices can be used as entry traffic lights?

CERES 22" & 27" - Portrait or Landscape

Our smaller entrance traffic light comes in a modern design and compact format. Due to the optimal display size of 22” or 27″, our entrance traffic lights based on the popular CERES 22”/27″ Digital Signage Stele can be used everywhere without any problems. The attractive and simple design can be easily integrated into any room concept. 

The bright display of the admission traffic light attracts attention and the clear traffic light symbolism directly communicates its benefits to the customer. The recognition value via the Ampelmännchen® is a further plus point of the solution.

Use our best-selling stele as an entrance traffic light and benefit from additional added value for your shop. The large, high-resolution display shows additional content in addition to the clearly visible entrance traffic light. This way you can inform the people waiting in front of your shop about offers and loyalty applications. Shorten customer waiting times with interesting infotainment such as quizzes and improve the customer experience even before entering the store.

Especially for shopping malls, the large PHEX stand steles are a useful addition. With their large display area, they offer a lot of space for advertising by local retailers or other digital signage applications such as indoor wayfinding.

Our multimedia steles are one way to better implement the distance regulations, which will be relaxed in the future. A digital stele based on the traffic light system can regulate access for people and ensure that distances are observed. This allows the operator to ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations and orders.

Sensors are used to measure the number of people entering and leaving the building. If the traffic light is red, the customer must wait in front of the store until the light turns green. This helps to ensure that there are not too many customers in the store at once. The maximum number of people at each device can be configured individually. The pedestal is delivered ready for connection so that it can be put into operation directly and does not require supervision. This relieves the sales staff of the workload and means that they no longer have to monitor access to the respective store in parallel.

The “supermarket traffic light” is easy and quick to use, which is an important criterion especially in times of Corona. Furthermore, the traffic light stele can be easily adapted to the corporate design by means of individual stickers.
