Weather
All terminals are weatherproof against snow, hail, rain, frost or heat. The thermal management of the info terminals is designed so that no active cooling (air conditioning) is required. This reduces energy consumption and further increases energy efficiency thanks to the LED backlight and brightness sensor.
Perceptibility in sunlight
Hardened safety glass (6, 8, 10 mm), impact and crush resistant housing materials and material thicknesses of the kiosk systems ensure sufficient protection against vandalism.
Vandalism
The display shines with a very high brightness of up to 2500 cd/m² and is therefore easily readable even in direct sunlight. The surface of the protective glass pane is anti-reflective.

What happens when installing an Outdoor Terminal to consider?
Depending on the model, the kiosk systems are screwed to the wall or to a base. If the outdoor terminal is set up in a free-standing position, we usually deliver the base in advance so that it can already be installed on a foundation.
The media connections (power, if necessary data cables) are laid in the base.
Now the final installation and commissioning of the terminal can take place. It is lifted onto the base, screwed together and connected to the media.
In urban areas with large-format panels, the outdoor terminal can also be mounted directly on the panel without a foundation.
The system is now in operation. Depending on the environmental conditions, regular cleaning is recommended. The robust, matt powder coating of the terminal and the micro-etching of the glass pane are highly resistant to dirt such as fingerprints and lime marks from rain.
