The Sächsische Staatsbäder GmbH may again invite guests to its thermal spa world.

For the reopening, the necessary corona protection regulations had to be complied with: increased cleaning and disinfection measures, access restrictions for the bathing area and reduction of the number of guests. In order to regulate admission, our corona traffic light was installed in the entrance area.

At the two locations in Bad Brambach and Bad Elster, visitors can take advantage of the entire range of services on offer – from sauna, medicinal and thermal baths to spa treatments. Only the steam baths and the salt sauna will remain closed until further notice.

After the opening of the bathhouse in 1852, where the Marienquelle is located, several conversions took place until the reopening in 2000. Since then, the renowned medicinal spring has been receiving its visitors for bathing therapy and drinking cure – now also digitally and in a safe manner.

The Wettinquelle once carried the name “Neue Quelle” and was renamed in 1914. The new building for a therapy and wellness centre was completed here in 2000 as well. This centre also celebrated its reopening, so that guests can once again enjoy the wide range of health offers after a break of several months.
