Digital entrance system at Edler Optik in Esslingen

At Edler Optik in Esslingen one of our Corona inlet traffic lights has been in use for several days. Owner Wolfgang Edler is enthusiastic about it.

“It just works!”

Due to the loosening of the nationwide shutdown at the end of April, many shops were able to open again. So also the family business of Wolgang and Kirsten Edler in Esslingen.

At Edler Optik, customers can now once again receive the best advice on the shape of their glasses, lens strength and the right contact lenses. The competent team, in which son David also works, consists of a total of five opticians, who are happy to be able to go back to work.

In order to comply with the official order on a maximum number of people in the shop, Wolfgang Edler decided very early on to install an eKiosk admission traffic light and is convinced. The state-certified optician and master optician draws a quick conclusion: “It simply works!”

After several days in use, one could say that the traffic light works reliably and does exactly what it is supposed to. This means that the employees can devote themselves completely to their work and the customers and do not have to worry about the entrance. The only thing the customers still have to get used to the changed situation a little. But this is getting better every day. The perception of digital customer entry systems is increasing every day and the solution is becoming more widespread.
