During these tests, a person stands in front of a check-in terminal and a thermal imaging camera measures the temperature. If the temperature is too high, contact is automatically made with the airline. Furthermore, hand disinfectant is sprayed without contact. In the future, kiosk systems and robots will be increasingly used to detect the extent to which the obligation to wear masks at the airport is observed.

The airlines themselves have a great interest in fully resuming air traffic due to the high economic pressure. However, this can only be achieved if all hygiene measures are taken into account. At the same time, passenger confidence must be regained.
